Senior Business Systems Analyst - Digital Platforms

About the role

Esri is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst for its Digital Platforms team in Redlands. The team delivers enterprise digital and marketing platforms that enable scalable, data-driven customer experiences. The role covers content management solutions (CMS), web applications, data and reporting platforms, enterprise integrations and marketing technologies, turning business needs into effective digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery and analysis through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews and workflow analysis.
• Analyze business processes and digital platforms to find opportunities for optimization, automation and better customer experiences.
• Translate business objectives into detailed functional, technical, integration and data requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers and platform admins to deliver digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as process models, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, API specs and integration docs.
• Support CMS, digital experience platforms and web applications, and collaborate with engineering teams on integrations, testing, releases and post-deployment support.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, prioritization, roadmap planning and Agile delivery.
• Support privacy, compliance, data governance and consent management initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions, and advise stakeholders on scalable, data-driven solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst supporting CMS, digital platforms or enterprise web applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or a related STEM discipline.
• Ability to document complex processes and communicate across technical and business audiences.
• Strong process analysis, requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants or conversational interfaces.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of web technologies and architectures, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs and cloud environments.
• Preferred: Adobe Experience Manager, headless CMS, Adobe Experience Cloud, Node.js, ServiceNow, enterprise search, Visio/Lucidchart, Excel, Workfront, Agile/Scrum, SAP or Salesforce integration.
