Senior Business Development Manager – National Mapping

About the role

Esri is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to work with its distributor network to co-sell and promote the adoption of Esri technology in the national mapping sector. The role combines enterprise sales and multi-channel software business development experience, helping customers optimize and expand their use of Esri technology while identifying new growth areas.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Esri account teams and distributors to define the vision, roadmap and business value of Esri software and services for targeted national mapping organizations
• Speak, present and negotiate with executives and key stakeholders, and give input on business and strategic growth plans for the national mapping industry and across regions
• Build and nurture long-term partnerships with customers and distributors, and mentor team members
• Lead the Executive Review with distributors to finalize terms and conditions of an enterprise agreement
• Research and compete effectively in competitive situations using advanced industry and country knowledge

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience supporting the gathering and design of technical specifications to solve customer needs
• Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, geomatics, business administration or a related field
• Ability to travel globally 25-50%
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available

• Mastery of English and other languages as needed
• Understanding of GIS, Esri technology and topographic mapping
• Preferred: experience in BI, marketing, market planning, supply chain or similar areas, and a Master's degree; Spanish proficiency preferred
