Senior Business Analyst – Professional Services

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst provides analytical support across the entire commercial lifecycle of ePlus' technology services portfolio, from prospecting and presales through contracting, implementation, renewals, and performance management. Acting as a strategic partner to service leadership and Sales Operations, the analyst builds scalable reporting and models that improve revenue predictability, utilization, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, define metrics, map processes and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Present performance trends, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Evaluate pricing, costs, margins and deal profitability with the deal desk.
• Analyze end‑to‑end services performance to identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Build capacity models to align labor supply with backlog and demand forecasts.
• Create executive dashboards and automate reporting using Power BI, Tableau, SQL and Excel.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales operations, financial analysis or business analytics supporting commercial decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, data analytics or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to analyze complex cost‑to‑serve, revenue and margin models and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA) and ability to build repeatable dashboards.
• Proficiency with SQL and data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar enterprise CRM platforms.
