About the role

A remote, full-time position keeping the books for US real estate and property businesses, often across several LLCs, so the owner and CPA can trust a clean month-end close. Pay is $20,000-$30,000 USD per year plus potential commission.

Key responsibilities

Full-charge bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online or Desktop across multiple entities
Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and chart of accounts cleanup
AP/AR, invoicing, vendor payments and collections follow-up
Track property income, expenses, security deposits and intercompany transfers
Monthly close with P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
Tax-ready files for the CPA, including 1099s
Clean up historical books when needed

Required profile

5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping for US businesses
Multi-entity/LLC books and month-end close experience
C1 English, comfortable explaining numbers to owners
Nice to have: real estate or property management experience, DoorLoop, AppFolio or Buildium, CPA or accounting degree, QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
