Senior Back-end Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

Join our Agile team as a Senior Back‑end Full Stack Developer, designing and building the mission‑critical software that powers supervisory platforms for a federal agency. You will lead the architecture of secure, scalable back‑end services, mentor developers and drive technical excellence in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop complex back‑end systems and APIs using .NET Core (C#) or Node.js.
• Integrate and optimise databases such as SQL Server and Sybase for high performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services for enterprise‑scale applications.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to deliver seamless end‑to‑end solutions.
• Champion secure coding, automated testing and DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube and Qualys.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline deployments, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across back‑end, database, cloud and integration points.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional back‑end and full‑stack development experience.
• Proven leadership in Agile teams and experience presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Eligibility for a federal background investigation (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency with 3+ years residency).
