RH Strategic is seeking a Senior Associate, Public Relations to join its Washington, D.C. office. This full‑time position is ideal for agency professionals with 4‑6 years of experience who want to deepen strategic influence, manage integrated communications programs, and build lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day execution of integrated communications programs across multiple client accounts.
• Develop and implement media‑relations strategies, identify story opportunities, craft pitches, and secure coverage.
• Translate complex client priorities into clear messaging that supports business objectives.
• Analyze campaign performance, share insights, and present actionable recommendations.
• Manage projects, workstreams, and cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as a trusted client contact, providing strategic counsel and fostering long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of public relations, strategic communications, or related experience, including at least 2 years in a PR agency.
• Proven ability to turn complex topics in technology, healthcare, workforce development, and education into compelling narratives.
• Experience developing media strategies, preparing interview materials, and handling crisis communications.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape, news cycles, and emerging trends.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing high‑quality strategic content.
