Senior Analyzer Engineer

About the role

BASF is seeking a Senior Analyzer Engineer to join the NAF team at its Freeport, TX site. The role focuses on delivering reliable process analytics that support manufacturing quality, sustainability and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process analyzer projects from concept through implementation.
• Identify, evaluate and introduce new process analytical technologies.
• Develop and execute work processes that improve analyzer reliability, accuracy and maintenance cost.
• Create long‑term improvement road‑maps and annual plans for analytical assets.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations to optimise asset placement and performance.
• Provide manufacturing partners with KPI‑driven insights to ensure product quality.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with several years of experience in chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on sustainability and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for design reviews, maintenance support and optimisation recommendations.
