Senior Analyzer Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyzer Engineer to join our NAF team in Freeport, Texas. In this position you will lead process analyzer projects, identify new analytical technologies, and drive continuous improvement of laboratory and field assets to support sustainable manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process analyzer projects and implement new analytical technologies.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose sustainable solutions for laboratory and field process analytical equipment.
• Develop work processes that enhance reliability, accuracy, and maintenance cost efficiency of analytical assets.
• Create long‑term improvement strategies and annual roadmaps for analytical reliability and availability.
• Apply best practices for maintenance and reliability, addressing poor technology placement and reliability issues.
• Provide manufacturing partners with product‑quality data through effective use of process analyzers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations on design reviews, repairs, and optimization recommendations.
• Serve as a key contact for North American and Global Process Analytical Technology (PAT) teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate’s degree + 10 years or High School + 15 years).
• Extensive experience in process analytics and instrumentation within refining or petrochemical environments.
• Solid understanding of process safety and Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) safety concepts.
