Senior Analyst, Risk and Insurance

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Risk and Insurance supports data management, financial reporting, and controls for unemployment and workers' compensation claim functions, while also providing analytics for corporate safety. This position administers the Origami risk management information system and serves both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, controls, and SOX compliance for Workers Compensation, coordinating internal and external control testing.
• Administer and maintain the Origami RMIS, including XML, SQL, HTML, JavaScript coding, user access, error review, and scheduled maintenance.
• Manage the Origami request mailbox, triage cases, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain vendor relationships with Origami and third‑party administrators for US and Canadian workers’ compensation.
• Support chargeback programs, expand and standardize reporting for Workers Compensation, Enterprise Health, Safety & Environmental, Education Security, and Unemployment functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, Business, or related field, or 5+ years in RMIS administration or risk operations.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation programs in the US and Canada.
• Understanding of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance and experience working with auditors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage intake portals and translate technical needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in XML, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Origami Risk or comparable RMIS platforms (e.g., Riskonnect, Ventiv, RMIS by Marsh).
• Database querying and report building across multiple business functions.

What we offer

• Base salary range $61,575 – $75,000, dependent on experience and location.
