Senior Analyst, Online Merchandise Solutions

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Analyst, Merchandise Planning - Online, based at its Store Support Center. The role analyzes the key drivers of performance for online merchandising and works with Merchandise Planning Managers and Online Merchants to identify business opportunities and execute strategies that maximize sales and profitability. It covers daily, weekly and monthly reporting and contributes to projects on pricing, profitability and supplier engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Merchandise Planning Managers and Online Merchants to analyze business drivers, assess them and execute strategies (about 30% of the role)
• Track and measure business performance through daily, weekly and monthly reporting and look for ways to improve it (about 40%)
• Contribute to projects and new initiatives supporting strategic business objectives (about 30%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job
• 4 years of preferred work experience
• No direct reports; typically less than 10% overnight travel

Required skills

• Business modeling with SQL, Excel, Access and Tableau, and advanced use of other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to analyze complex data and influence decisions with cross-functional partners
• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
