Senior Analyst, Business Unit Sales & Strategy

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring across several Business Unit teams for Senior Analyst positions in Business Unit Sales & Strategy. The analyst enables the company and its customers to grow category sales, provides objective category expertise and delivers recommendations on product assortment, pricing, merchandising and shelving. The role drives customer sell-in through insights-based category selling stories and works closely with internal teams and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business performance (sales, distribution, merchandising, innovation speed to shelf, velocity, broker performance and others) to support weekly and monthly Business Unit Sales routines
• Support the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan for each category with the Business Unit Sales team
• Support new product launches by working with managers and field sales teams on sell-in, forecasting and performance tracking
• Develop category and brand strategies for pricing, distribution, shelving and merchandising, with recommendations based on data analysis
• Use retail analytics from multiple data sources to build category leadership insights and sell stories, and run periodic reports and presentations for the category team
• Communicate and drive execution of key brand initiatives to field sales teams through internal sales news portals and field sales meetings
• Run forecasting and tracking of seasonal products and in-store displays, and share supply challenges and waste risks by category with field sales

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 to 3 years of experience in business, sales, data analytics, retail or a related field
• Excellent organizational skills, self-starter who can meet deadlines and balance competing priorities
• Accurate, timely reporting with a drive to improve and streamline processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
