Senior Accountant – Treasury & Financial Reporting

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Global Business Service Center in Missouri. The role focuses on treasury accounting, financial reporting and supporting audit compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting activities in line with accounting principles and standards.
• Prepare Non‑GAAP and GAAP supporting schedules for earnings releases and 10Q/10K filings.
• Leverage performance management tools and reporting to track progress and consolidate operational results.
• Escalate operational risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for resolution.
• Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements.
• Maintain access and generate reports from various banking systems.
• Support SOX and audit compliance, contributing to control enhancements.
• Assist with special projects and provide ad‑hoc support to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and reporting requirements.
• Experience managing projects.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced environment with accuracy.
