Senior Accountant – Mortgage Finance (Remote)

About the role

The Financial Products & Services Accounting team at Zillow Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its fully remote mortgage finance group. You will be responsible for the integrity of loan‑level and warehouse‑line financials, ensuring accurate accounting from daily funding through month‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliations between loan origination activity and warehouse bank funding, researching and clearing exceptions.
• Serve as the accounting liaison to warehouse bank partners, reviewing funding and paydown reports and validating new bank file formats.
• Drive month‑end close tasks, complete sign‑offs in FloQast and produce clean workpapers.
• Calculate and tie out monthly warehouse‑line financial covenant compliance across bank partners.
• Build and maintain reconciliations and reporting that summarize daily flow of funds by bank.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting experience, preferably in mortgage or loan finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to own end‑to‑end processes.
• Experience working remotely and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
