Senior Accountant

About the role

Incisive is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the end‑to‑end accounting function as the company scales. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will drive a clean monthly close, manage the annual audit, and help design scalable processes for a fast‑growing technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals and invoicing.
• Lead the monthly close process, prepare journal entries, reconciliations and GAAP‑compliant schedules.
• Serve as primary contact for the annual financial statement audit, handling auditor requests.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and fixed‑asset schedules.
• Oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and support sales‑tax compliance.
• Partner with the VP of Finance on technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition and stock‑based compensation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a startup or high‑growth environment.
• Proven track record owning a monthly close and supporting a financial statement audit.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting fundamentals.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success and Engineering.
