Senior Accountant

About the role

Cuvée is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in the Denver Tech Center. The role supports the company’s rapid growth by ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process day‑to‑day transactions including accounts payable, cash receipts, accounts receivable, credit‑card payments and payroll.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses.
• Monitor cash and investment balances, produce cash‑flow forecasts and ensure proper revenue and expense recognition.
• Assist heads of finance with budget development, monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Lead fiscal year‑end close activities and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff.
• Excellent communication with finance leadership.
