Senior Accountant

About the role

Superfan is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day‑to‑day accounting operations and support tour‑level financial performance. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will work closely with corporate and tour finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and scalable processes as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain an accurate general ledger in QuickBooks Online and ensure audit‑ready financials.
• Manage daily cash across multiple accounts and currencies, oversee inter‑account transfers, and produce weekly cash‑flow dashboards.
• Track ticketing deposits, VIP revenue, and tour expenses; provide tour profitability reports and settlements.
• Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable lifecycle, including bill payment, vendor management, invoicing, and collections.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, ad‑hoc analysis, and partner with leadership on budgeting and decision‑making.
• Own QuickBooks Online configurations, manage integrations with Ramp, Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and other banking tools.
• Coordinate with external partners on U.S. and international tax matters, support payroll tax compliance, and ensure timely filing of 1099s.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and cash management.
• Experience working in fast‑growing, dynamic environments, preferably with multi‑currency operations.
