Senior Account Manager, Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Senior Account Manager for its Business Insurance team. The role manages relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to deliver top-quality service and drive growth. MMA provides business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and private client insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers
• Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations
• Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and prepare proposals
• Resolve billing issues
• Mentor Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Insurance
• Property & Casualty license, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment
• Insurance designations (e.g. INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship now or in the future
• Plus: associates or bachelor's degree preferred; working toward CPCU, CIC, ARM and/or AU designations or equivalent knowledge

What we offer

• Base salary of $64,700 to $120,400, depending on experience, skills, location and certifications, plus possible performance-based incentives
