Account Manager, Personal Lines Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Account Manager for its Personal Lines team. You will grow and manage private client accounts by meeting monthly and annual production goals, act as a mentor to associates on your team and advise and consult for clients. The role is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, and offers a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage private client accounts while meeting monthly and annual production goals
• Mentor associates on your team and advise and consult for clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance coverages with at least 3 years' experience in the insurance industry
• P&C insurance license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship now or in the future
• Preferred: associate's or bachelor's degree

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Customer service, independent work, time management and attention to detail

• Base salary of $64,700 to $120,400, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, plus possible performance incentives
