Seed Agronomic Sales Advisor – Western Iowa

About the role

The Seed Agronomic Sales Advisor will support the Western Iowa territory by building strategic relationships with retailers, growers, and consultants. Acting as a trusted agronomic expert, you will recommend BASF seed, crop protection, and seed treatment solutions to help customers maximize productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business and agronomic plans with key growers and retailers.
• Drive growth across seed, crop protection, and seed treatment portfolios through targeted sales strategies and accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including technical service representatives and strategic account managers, to implement customer plans.
• Maintain regular travel throughout the territory, including up to 5% overnight travel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of professional sales experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Effective time, territory, and resource management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using agricultural sales platforms such as Sales X and Salesforce.
