QA/QC Technician – Agricultural Solutions

About the role

Join BASF Agricultural Solutions as a QA/QC Technician in Beaumont, TX. You will support safe laboratory operations, perform rigorous sample analysis, and help develop analytical methods that ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Follow EHS and quality policies, report unsafe conditions, and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Analyze, document, and communicate results for raw material, in‑process, and final product samples using a range of techniques.
• Review and evaluate new analytical methods, conduct testing for special projects, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, ensure proper setup according to documented methods, and use LIMS to support product assurance plans.
• Develop, document, and implement analytical methods for material release, in‑process control, and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree/college coursework in a scientific discipline with 3 years of experience.
• Ability to solve basic mathematical problems, strong reading comprehension, mechanical aptitude, and a positive work ethic.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Requirement to join and participate in the fire‑truck team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HPLC, ICP, IC, GC‑FID, GC‑MS, FTIR, wet chemistry, and physical chemistry techniques.
• Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Computer proficiency for data analysis and documentation.
