Security Systems Specialist

About the role

The Security Systems Specialist will work with the Security Manager to implement and manage physical security technologies for the Infrastructure Support Services contract, ensuring compliance with DOE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot physical access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.
• Provide 24/7 support, respond to system failures, and coordinate repairs with vendors and subcontractors.
• Perform server, network, and software administration for security applications, ensuring continuous operation and compliance with cyber policies.
• Monitor system performance, conduct risk assessments, and document changes and repairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in security or IT operations with access control and video surveillance systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance.
