Security Officer Patrol Driver - Healthcare Facility

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare facility in Wooster, Ohio. The role involves routine patrols, a visible presence to deter security incidents and good customer service. It is a full-time position paid $16 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients across industries such as healthcare, including routine patrols and a visible presence.
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors and staff, carrying out security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies and critical situations, following protocols and communicating with the right people.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas and perimeters.
• Assist with access control, visitor management and directions while keeping a professional presence.
• Document observations, incidents and actions taken according to site reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Applicants undergo a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
