Security Engineer

About the role

Roboflow is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own security across its entire stack, from Kubernetes clusters to application logic. You will build tooling, automation, and architecture that prevents critical mistakes while supporting rapid development velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Secure Kubernetes clusters, GCP infrastructure, SaaS integrations and developer workflows.
• Build internal tooling and CI/CD automations to detect vulnerabilities before production.
• Lead threat modeling sessions, secure code reviews and design secure‑by‑default APIs.
• Harden authentication and access control across all surfaces.
• Run red‑team exercises, manage a bug bounty program and lead incident response.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience with a strong security focus.
• Thrives in fast‑paced 100–300 person startup environments.
• Hands‑on experience responding to real‑world incidents and driving remediation.

What we offer

• Salary range $165,000–$200,000 per year
• $4,000 annual travel stipend
