Security Account Manager - Educational Facility

About the role

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Account Manager for an educational facility in Saint Paul, MN. The Account Manager leads daily security operations, guiding, developing and motivating security officers and supervisors to deliver safe service. The pay rate is $72,800 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scheduling with AI-powered tools, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
• Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance and employee relations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure high-quality service
• Respond to escalated incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams
• Oversee training, safety and site operational standards, and manage inventory of uniforms, equipment and supplies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; licensing may be required depending on state and local laws
• At least two years of experience in business operations, security management or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading, developing and retaining a team while building positive client relationships
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments and law enforcement coordination
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or personal vehicle while conducting business
• Military and law enforcement experience encouraged

Required skills

• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
• Effective communication with clients and employees while managing multiple projects
• Ability to evaluate situations, make independent decisions and resolve conflicts efficiently
• Financial acumen: managing staffing levels, turnover costs and inventory costs

Preferred qualifications

• College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
• ASIS CPP certification
• Aptitude with CCTV, access control and badge administration
• Previous payroll, billing or scheduling experience
