Second & Third Shift Machine Operator

About the role

Join Clopay Corporation as a Machine Operator on the second or third shift at our Russia, Ohio facility. You will work in a fast‑paced aluminum manufacturing environment, handling the full machining process from reading technical documents to operating CNC equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical documents to measure and cut materials.
• Load, drill, and transfer heavy rails and pre‑cut stiles.
• Perform repetitive lifting, cut long rails into shorter lengths, and move parts to subsequent operations.
• Enter programs into CNC machines and conduct cutting, milling, and drilling operations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in machining.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical documents.
• Operating CNC machines (cutting, milling, drilling).
• Measuring and cutting materials accurately.
• Handling and transferring heavy rails and stiles.
