Seasonal Service Supervisor – Student Living

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Seasonal Service Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical upkeep of The 505 student living community in Los Angeles. This part‑time, seasonal role runs from June 1 to August 14, 2026, ensuring the property meets Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform hands‑on repairs.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling vendors and managing inventory.
• Attention to detail and commitment to Greystar’s quality standards.
