Seasonal Pool Front Desk Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and reliable seasonal employee to manage the front desk at Sandburg Pools from April through October. The role involves greeting members, handling cash transactions, and supporting pool operations throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑season: unpack supplies, deep‑clean pool equipment, guard office, break room, locker rooms and pool areas; set up deck and seating according to layout.
• In‑season: check‑in members, answer inquiries in person and by phone, track membership requests, assist the Pool Manager with chemical testing and logging, enforce pool rules, manage cash drawer, keep the front desk area tidy, and report maintenance issues.
• Post‑season: break down deck setup, store equipment, perform final deep cleaning, prepare pools for off‑season closure, and pack seasonal materials for storage.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or a related field.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross CPR certification (or equivalent).
• American Red Cross First Aid certification (or equivalent; training may be provided).
• Ability to stand, walk and remain alert for extended periods and to lift/rescue equipment as needed.
