Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker

About the role
Ozaukee County is seeking reliable individuals to join the Planning and Parks Department on a seasonal, part‑time basis through December. You will help keep the county’s 13 parks, interurban trail, and two golf courses clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Mow grass, trim weeds, and manage invasive species.
- Plant, trim, prune, or remove trees and shrubs as needed.
- Collect litter, clean bathrooms, and empty fire pits and grills.
- Maintain shelters, buildings, and trail surfaces.
- Open and close park gates and assist with special construction projects.
Required profile
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Experience in parks, golf courses, or recreation‑maintenance work preferred.
- Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and varying weather conditions.

- Hourly pay ranging from $14.99 to $17.07.
- Flexible part‑time schedule (20‑40 hours per week).
