Search Consultant (Physician Recruiter – Permanent Placement)

About the role
The Search Consultant will specialize in permanent placement of physicians and advanced practice providers across the United States. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and final placement, helping healthcare organizations build high‑performing clinical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for permanent physician and APP roles.
- Build and maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates using sourcing, networking, referrals, social media, and outbound outreach.
- Screen candidates to assess experience, career goals, compensation expectations, and location preferences.
- Present qualified candidates to client organizations and guide them through the hiring process.
- Develop long‑term relationships with physicians, residents, fellows, and APPs to generate future placements.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and healthcare providers.
- Negotiate compensation packages, employment agreements, and start dates.
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM and ATS systems.
- Achieve recruiting, placement, and activity targets in a metrics‑driven environment.
- Collaborate with internal operations and credentialing teams to ensure seamless placements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, staffing, healthcare recruiting, sales, or business development.
- Strong consultative sales mindset with a passion for connecting providers to career opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
