School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role

The SPEAK Center is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy and evaluation services to students with IEPs in a school‑based setting in Katy, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and deliver individualized speech‑language therapy for students, developing treatment plans and supervising SLPAs.
• Create a warm, engaging therapy environment and foster connections with students, families, and school staff.
• Coordinate schedules with school teams, maintain accurate records per TEA standards, and communicate progress to parents and teachers.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with research and therapy tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Active SLP license and ASHA certification.
• Experience working with pediatric populations and a passion for helping children.
• Strong communication, organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of speech‑language evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Familiarity with therapy tools and resources for children.
