Sales Support Specialist

About the role

Paige Energy, a GCG Company, is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to support its growing customer base in the utilities market. This is a mid-level role supporting the Strategic Accounts team through quoting, order entry and ongoing customer communication. The position is hybrid: three days per week in the office at 333 Fayetteville St, Suite 1400, Raleigh, NC, and two days working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an internal point of contact for customer and sales team inquiries about products, pricing, availability, shipments and returns
• Maintain regular communication with customers, Account Managers and sales leadership, and give order status updates with lead times and shipment details
• Generate accurate quotes with correct pricing, availability and lead times, and follow up on open opportunities
• Enter customer orders and set up new customer accounts in CRM and ERP systems
• Work with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve pricing, availability and shipment issues, and escalate complex matters internally

Required profile

• 4+ years of customer or sales support experience in a B2B industrial, manufacturing or distribution environment
• Working knowledge of quote-to-order and order management processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and clear, professional communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM, ERP and internal communication tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
