Breast Care Sales Representative - Raleigh, NC

About the role

Stryker is looking for an ambitious, field-based Breast Care Sales Representative in Raleigh, NC to promote its point-of-care imaging solutions, including the SPY fluorescence imaging system and DermACELL advanced decellularized dermis, to hospitals. The role focuses on driving procedure volume of a first-in-class, market-disrupting fluorescence and visualization technology.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the SPY fluorescence imaging system's customer base in hospitals to meet sales goals.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on the proper use and maintenance of SPY technology across multiple surgeon specialties.
• Become a clinical expert across imaging platforms, procedures, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Direct product evaluations in the OR and office settings.
• Build strong relationships with Core Endoscopy Sales Representatives in the assigned region and collaborate with them.
• May help prepare and run trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings, and may help train and develop sales personnel.
• Keep the Regional Manager informed of territory progress regularly and solve product problems for customers quickly.
• Sell DermACELL in hospitals for reconstructive applications.
• Regular activities include OR servicing, presentations, case proctoring, overcoming clinical objections and lead follow-up.
• Partner with the MedEd team to drive customer and rep clinical education.

Required profile

• 1-5 years of selling experience with a proven record; medical-related sales strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the operating room environment preferred.
• Excellent clinical selling skills and the ability to build credibility with surgeons, OR staff and hospital administration.
• Demonstrated verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and identify new business.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or five years of commercial sales or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• Travel of more than 50% depending on territory coverage.
