Sales & Risk Consultant (Remote - Southeast)

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Sales and Risk Consultant for a remote position serving the Southeast region. The role combines gathering coverage information from prospects, analyzing data and preparing risk evaluations, and reviewing carrier contracts to recommend optimal client coverage while meeting regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with multiple high-net-worth insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, in line with industry laws and regulations.
• Gather coverage information from prospects, analyze data and prepare risk evaluations including product and service requirements.
• Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver client coverage recommendations and ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Generate referrals from your contacts of interest (COIs) and work with Business Development Executives and Client Advisors to grow referral sources.
• Meet new business development goals and forecast results.
• Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal tracking reports, and use the EPIC Agency Management System to enter and maintain account information accurately and on time.
• Practice sales techniques learned in Sales Training to improve performance.

Required profile

• 4 years of directly related business development or client service experience.
• Successful experience as a Sales and Risk Consultant with high-net-worth clients is essential.
• P&C licensed and high-net-worth personal lines insurance experience is necessary.
• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
