Sales Representative - Sage Products, New Mexico

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Sage Sales Representative in New Mexico (field-based, based in Albuquerque) to promote and sell Sage products designed to address preventable never-events in healthcare. The role involves building customer relationships, answering inquiries, negotiating pricing and managing orders, while exceeding sales targets and collaborating with marketing and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key account influencers, distributors and end-users to defend the business base and achieve quota.
• Act as a resident Sage expert for clinical specialists, nurses, educators and administrators, covering your own products and competitors' offerings.
• Deliver a consultative, customer-focused approach with honesty and integrity, and partner with customers on protocol and process improvement.
• Position Stryker's products in the marketplace by tracking industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory shifts.

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience in sales or a clinical setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, set up and demonstrate equipment up to 50 pounds, and to stand, kneel, bend and sit for long periods.
• Good coordination, visual and auditory discrimination, reading and memory retention.

Required skills

• Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development and introduction, P&L management and field testing.
• Consultative sales approach and customer service.
