Foot & Ankle Sales Representative

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Foot & Ankle Sales Representative in Albuquerque, NM. This is a field-based position where you sell Stryker Foot & Ankle products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, working with a high degree of intensity and commitment. The role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Become the resident Foot & Ankle expert for a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Organize materials and sort possible solutions quickly during operating room consultations.
• Maintain and manage your product inventory and assist customers whenever needed.
• Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives, drawing on knowledge of both your own products and competitors' offerings.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two).
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the area would be beneficial.
• Comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
• Willingness to travel 20%.

Required skills

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products, including product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Use of current office technologies such as MS Office and databases.
• Adherence to compliance and ethical standards (AdvaMed), including confidentiality and reporting of non-compliance.
