Sales Representative – Independent Retail (Stockton/Sacramento South)

About the role

Join Breakthru Beverage Group as a Sales Representative focused on independent retail accounts in the Stockton/Sacramento South region. You will grow relationships with existing accounts and develop new business to drive sales of supplier brands.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts on a daily route, present sales plans, and manage product placement, inventory, and promotions.
• Maintain compliance with national accounts, conduct training for staff, and handle receivables and customer issues.
• Achieve sales, volume, and distribution targets while monitoring inventory levels and supporting new account openings.
• Collect payments where legally permissible and participate in supplier sales calls and blitzes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of sales experience, preferably in beverage or consumer goods.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 45‑65 lb, reach overhead, squat and bend regularly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with diplomatic customer service skills.

What we offer

• Base salary $75k‑$100k plus uncapped commission and bonus eligibility.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per business mile.
