Sales Representative – Citrus County

About the role

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the United States, is seeking a Sales Representative for Citrus County. You will guide prospective homebuyers through the entire sales journey, from initial contact to closing, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition and product offerings to potential customers.
• Identify customer goals, address challenges, and position D.R. Horton as the optimal solution.
• Overcome objections, negotiate, and close sales.
• Maintain accurate documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continuously source new sales opportunities and develop a marketing plan for new customer relationships.
• Network with realtors and perform outreach activities.
• Manage time efficiently to meet sales targets and collaborate with team members.
• Maintain and expand a prospect database, attend sales meetings, and uphold company policies and quality standards.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or at least 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and ability to drive day or night.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift up to 25 lb, and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to use D.R. Horton sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
