About the role
We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Major Market Rentals sales team. You will own the strategy, development, and performance of a national sales organization that connects rental shoppers with homes across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Own, develop, and lead all aspects of a national sales team, including strategy, personnel development, client relationships, and reporting.
- Drive industry and local market knowledge initiatives to expand market share and account footprint.
- Implement consistent, high‑quality sales output and continuously improve revenue, sales velocity, and closing ratios.
- Standardize processes such as activity metrics, sales cadence, and operational workflows.
- Improve client retention and loyalty through data‑driven coaching and relationship management.
- Lead the team through hyper‑growth change, fostering a growth‑mindset culture.
- Partner effectively with billing, operations, finance, product, marketing, and other internal teams.
- Communicate Zillow Rentals’ value proposition in presentations, industry events, executive meetings, and sales proposals.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading sales teams in a fast‑growing environment.
- Strong coaching and data‑driven performance management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to create a dynamic, growth‑oriented team culture, both virtually and in‑person.
- Passion for employee satisfaction and continuous improvement.
