Consultant – Japanese Language Proficiency (N1)

About the role

Avasant is seeking a Japanese‑language‑proficient professional to support client engagements and consulting initiatives across business analysis, research, and deliverable preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Support client engagements and consulting projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables within timelines.
• Use Japanese language skills for client communication, documentation, and coordination.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize findings for consulting projects.
• Assist in developing business cases, analytical models, presentations, and reports.
• Support proposal preparation, competitive bid documents, and business development materials.
• Collaborate with global project teams, track deliverables, and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management or related field.
• Strong analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Prior experience or knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing or business process transformation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese (JLPT N1) and English.

Required skills

• Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 level.
• Strong English communication skills.
