Sales Manager – Business Travel

About the role

Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is looking for an energetic, results‑driven Sales Manager to generate transient room revenue by prospecting, developing, and managing corporate and business travel accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new corporate and business travel accounts.
• Manage existing accounts to maximize room‑night production and revenue.
• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client meetings and networking events.
• Negotiate corporate rate agreements and contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and travel buyers.
• Monitor account production and identify growth opportunities.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows and community networking.
• Collaborate with revenue management and hotel operations teams to achieve business goals.
• Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within the CRM system.
• Meet or exceed established revenue and production goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hotel or hospitality sales experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using hotel sales systems and CRM platforms.
