Sales Executive in Training – Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Sales Executive in Training in Clearwater. The role starts with an immersive 5-month training program covering insurance coverage, the agency's competitive advantages and how to sell yourself as an insurance professional. After training, you will make cold calls, set up and attend meetings with prospective clients and win business.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a 5-month training program in insurance coverage and sales techniques.
• Make cold calls and set up and attend meetings with prospective clients.
• Build relationships with Sales Management and Client Service members so that timeframes and deliverables are met during and after the sales process, increasing retention through quality service.

Required profile

• Sales aptitude, excellent communication skills, ability to build and maintain relationships, business acumen, strategic reasoning and a results-driven approach.
• Ability to acquire 2-20 and 2-15 licenses within 4 months of employment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of business-to-business sales experience is preferred but not required.
