Business Insurance Account Manager (Client Advisor)

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is looking for a Business Insurance Account Manager, referred to as a Client Advisor, to manage a high-profile, complex book of business that generates substantial revenue critical to the company's operations. The role sits within a business insurance practice offering insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and private client insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the renewal process and provide insurance advice on the technical aspects and service support of new and renewal business, including retaining existing accounts
• Communicate with internal and external clients
• Manage client claims and client accounts receivables and payables
• Use the Sagitta Agency Management System and document management system
• Mentor associates and solve problems, including abstract reasoning
• Apply good time management and organization

Required profile

• Current 2-20 license
• Extensive knowledge of business insurance policy contracts and coverages
• Understanding of the regulatory, legislative and legal issues around critical commercial situations, including marketplace and market conditions
• Willingness to learn the Sagitta Agency Management System
