Sales Engineer / Account Manager – Houston, TX

About the role

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Account Manager to serve customers in the Houston, TX region. You will act as the technical liaison between our global tooling solutions and local manufacturers, helping them improve productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Present the full Coromant product and service portfolio to address customer needs.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
• Proven success in technical sales or customer‑facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (≈10% overnight).
