Sales & Education Specialist – Portland

About the role

tarte™ is looking for a dynamic Sales & Education Specialist to represent the brand in Portland stores. You will be the primary point of contact for store teams, delivering product knowledge, driving sales, and coordinating in‑store events that showcase our high‑performance, cruelty‑free cosmetics.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores daily and act as the brand’s on‑site ambassador.
• Achieve and exceed targeted sales goals for each location.
• Plan, schedule, and execute in‑store sales support, events, and education initiatives.
• Provide product training, artistry tips, and selling techniques to Sephora, ULTA, Macy’s, and other retail partners.
• Collaborate with store teams to develop promotional activities that increase brand awareness.
• Monitor and evaluate each store’s sales performance and report results.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff and management.

Required profile

• Proven retail experience in the beauty or cosmetics sector.
• Self‑starter with strong selling and consultative skills.
• Ability to follow retailer guidelines and standards.
• Passion for people, service, and the brand’s cruelty‑free mission.
