Sales Associate - Part-Time

About the role

Hot Topic is looking for music and pop culture fans to join its Norfolk store as a part-time Sales Associate. The role focuses on great customer service, stocking and replenishing products, and keeping the store visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a great shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using product knowledge and customer service skills
• Cover the sales floor zone and keep assigned areas up to visual standards
• Work the register, processing sales and driving add-on sales through options such as BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Help with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixtures and merchandising mix
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of merchandise
• Keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Store Leader

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment
• At least 16 years old
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to move around the store, merchandise products with approved equipment and pack and unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
