Sales Account Manager - Automotive Dealers

About the role

Experian is looking for Sales Account Managers to manage, grow and retain its business relationships with automotive dealers across the United States. You will report to the Inside Sales Director, be assigned a territory of dealer or dealer group accounts and manage, retain and expand your account base. The role retains roughly 800 AutoCheck accounts worth over $6M in annual revenue. It is a fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of franchised and independent auto dealers while delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Engage clients proactively through outbound dialing so they use the products, obtain value and stay satisfied.
• Answer dealer requests about product use, contracts, billing, disputes and cancellations, and coordinate internal partners to satisfy them.
• Onboard new dealers sold by Experian Account Executives and resellers, including product implementation and user training.
• Renegotiate contract renewals to retain accounts and sell into the assigned territory following a sales process.
• Promote additional Experian product offerings to help dealers meet their goals.
• Maintain the customer contact database and sales retention processes, and share customer feedback with the product team.
• Travel occasionally, up to 10%, and attend trade shows and offsite client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in automotive retail or SaaS.
• 2+ years of sales, account management or customer service experience in automotive retail or SaaS.
• Experience in a high-touch outbound call center environment and in prospect engagement.
• Experience with V-suite level servicing and contract negotiation.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard CRMs such as Salesforce.
• Ability to travel when needed, up to 10%.
