Runner en Construcción – Puerto Rico

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Runner to support our engineering and construction projects in Puerto Rico. The role involves handling purchases, messaging, and a variety of logistical tasks to keep projects moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform errands for projects, government offices, suppliers, and clients.
• Deliver and collect documents, contracts, permits, plans, and other important paperwork.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment between offices, warehouses, and job sites.
• Assist in coordinating and distributing supplies for projects and offices.
• Handle administrative procedures with government agencies, banks, postal services, and other entities.
• Make bank deposits, process payments, and collect checks as required.
• Organize, file, and distribute documentation.
• Track assigned tasks and report status promptly.
• Coordinate urgent deliveries for construction projects.
• Support supervisors and project managers with operational needs.
• Verify that deliveries include the required documentation.
• Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; heavy‑vehicle category preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in purchasing and messenger duties.
• Basic knowledge of routes, addresses, and GPS navigation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and use ladders.
• Strong time‑management skills and a sense of urgency.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Physical capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
