Room Service Operator

About the role

The Room Service Operator supports the patient meal service at UT Health Tyler, acting as a welcoming ambassador who helps patients select and receive their meals. This position plays a vital part in delivering a positive experience for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Process menus accurately and assist patients with menu selection.
• Prepare and deliver meals to patient rooms in a timely manner.
• Perform clerical tasks related to meal service preparation.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and maintain regular attendance.
• Carry out additional duties as required by the department or client needs.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented, adaptable and reliable.
• Committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work flexible mornings and rotating weekends.
