Room Attendant

About the role
Join the hospitality team at The Vanderbilt, a historic 33‑room luxury resort in downtown Newport. As a Room Attendant you will ensure each guest room is immaculate, welcoming and fully stocked, contributing to memorable stays for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting and replenishing amenities.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and report them promptly.
- Maintain compliance with hotel cleanliness standards and internal policies.
- Restock and manage inventory of toiletries, linens, towels and other room supplies.
- Respond to guest requests with courteous service to enhance their experience.
Required profile
- At least one year of housekeeping experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
- Bi‑lingual ability is a plus.
