Room Attendant - Housekeeper

About the role

The Westin Philadelphia is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet established standards and contribute to overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and amenities, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Notify managers of needed repairs and process guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Perform houseperson and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or when short‑staffed.
• Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work toward improving them.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

Required skills

• Safe work habits and use of protective equipment following MSDS and OSHA standards.
